From Inmates to Playdates

I have about 962 ideas rolling around in my brain as to how I should kick this thing off. First, I should probably apologize for the fact that my blog is not totally finished.

I know! I know!

I’m not real happy either. But, in some arenas I am not the center of the universe (gasp!) and so I must wait patiently! All I can tell you is that I really didn’t want to reveal this thing until all the plugins and widgets were installed.

But, my excitement got the best of me and so here I am.

Don’t you love the way I just threw the words plugins and widgets out there? As if I actually know what those things really are? Even though I’m not 100% sure what they are, I know they are not all in place yet. I am so excited for this thing to be completed. I like a finished project.

Next, I guess I should go ahead and apologize for the overusage of commas and the liklihood that I will use the semi-colon at the wrong time. Truth is I talk pretty fast. And, if I add a comma, it’s probably because I’ve got an itch somewhere and I need to pause. I do hope the grammar police don’t patrol these parts. They will have their hands full.

Ultimately though, I knew the whole inmates-in-the-title-thing would be a real attention getter. So, hopefully it got your attention. I guess this is as good a place as any to tell ya’ll that I spent four years in jail.

As an inmate gopher servant counselor.

Yes, you read that right.

I counseled inmates.

Weird, I know. But somebody’s gotta do it.

And actually, I. Loved. It!

I hope to go back there once my boys are both in school.

With all that said, I just want to say how excited I am about this endeavor. If you are a LBF (loyal blog fan), I appreciate you stopping by to see my new home.
