Because there is snow on the ground {GROWL!}, {MOAN!}, {WHINE!} here in Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia, I thought it might be fun to participate in Island Lifes Aloha Friday. Picture yourself sitting under that little palm tree, watching the waves crash against the shore, holding a pina’ colada (or in my case an ice-cold Dr. Pepper), listening to island music and wishing you could stay there forever. Wouldn’t that be fabulous?
And, speaking of island music, have I mentioned that I! LOVE! A! GOOD! SONG!
At this moment, my favorite song is Empty Me by Chris Sligh, however, I’ve been rocking out all week to David Archuleta’s new song, Your Eyes Don’t Lie. And, since this is the second time this week I’ve mentioned Davie Boy’s new song on this here blog, I think its time he pony up some coin for the marketing campaign I have gone on over here.
Now, it’s your turn to play. Answer this question.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG?
Oh, and if you’d like to participate on your blog, just post your own question at your place and leave your link over at An Island Life to share with the blogosphere.
That’s all.
I do hope ya’ll have a lovely weekend.

My favorite song is forever changing, like with my moods or something but lately it’s been Out Of My Mind by the John Mayer Trio – or basically any song on the Where The Light Is album – it’s become my newest addiction, you know, months ago, which is really pretty amazing that I’m still so obsessed with it.
Hmmmm. I don’t have a favorite song as it changes depending on my mood. Right now I’m getting ready to find all of my Christmas cds so I guess my favorite would be Josh Groban’s Christmas album.
Oh wow, I have so many. I really love Celtic music so my favorite would have to be one of those but I really can’t name just one. Sorry about that. BTW, my dad was born and raised in West Virginia and I still have lots of cousins there.
This is a hard question… “feels like rain” by john hyatt, or “pride and joy” by stevie ray vaughn.
I don’t know if I have one favorite. This morning I was singing along with Highway Man in my car-an oldie but goodie! I have also been enjoying the new Beyonce song, which is totally not like me, but I think this one is really good!
My all time favorite song is “Wind Beneath My Wings” Mine also change depending on my mood.
East to West by Casting Crowns.
Ooooh, I would choose an ice-cold Dr. Pepper over any alcoholic beverage anyday! My new fave song is Gavin Rossdale’s Love Remains the Same (on the trailer for Nights in Rodanthe)!!!!
I like so many songs that it would be hard to pick a favorite.
I love Julia Fordham’s songs especially Tower Block.
My favorite song is anything EXCEPT Family Force 5′s music. Oh, seriously…I love anything by Andrew Peterson, or Casting Crowns–it’s hard to nail down just one.
But if I had to name just one, it would be something on the totally opposite end of the spectrum…TobyMac’s Made to Love. I’m weird that way.
Oh, and can I have Diet Coke instead?
And on the topic of snow…a couple of years ago, my son (4 at the time) actually asked me if snow was REAL. Because he had NEVER SEEN ANY. We live near Atlanta…”snow” here is any white stuff falling ever so briefly from the sky, and “accumulation” is any white stuff that stays for even a few minutes on the ground. Last winter (Feb.) it finally “snowed” and my boys built an anemic snowman that was maybe 10 in. tall…and that took some serious work on their part!
