O’McChristmas Tree
My Christmas tree went up a week before Thanksgiving. I love putting my tree up and enjoyed having my boys help with the festivities this year. Last week, I dedicated a whole post to my beloved tree. Then, I was over at Island Life and read about Kailani’s Christmas Tree Decorating Contest, so, I thought why not throw my tree’s hat in the ring.
Here’s how it works:
- You have from now until Dec 12th to submit your Christmas Tree photos. Just hop over there and add your url to your actual entry post on the Mr. Linky.
- The voting will start on Dec 13th and run till Friday the 16th.
- You can only vote once so get all your friends to vote for you, too!
- Winners will be announced on Dec 18th.
- You must place this button in your sidebar.

My Christmas tree is a 9 foot pre-lit tree and it has ornaments from each place we have visited since we’ve been married. It also has home-made ornaments from my boys and ornaments I received at a Christmas Bridal Shower given by my friend, Christine in 1997. It also has various ornaments I have chosen for my boys and McDaddy every year. My tree used to rotate, but as I mentioned in this post, the rotating Christmas tree stand died a few days ago.
I’m asking you, my loyal blog fans to head on over there and vote for the McChristmas Tree.
And now, without further ado….
And another view….
And, hey, how about one more….
Please hop over there on December 13th and vote for us.
May the best tree win.
Or the one with the most friends!

Beautiful!!!!
Well. It’s official, my Mother has converted me into a basket nut. Not only has she converted me into a consultant (which I love.. which should have been my first inkling I suppose) my first thought upon looking at this tree was… Hmm where are the baskets… and then I proceeded to count them.. I got 4… which I believe means you are less of a basket nut than my mother/branch leader. (On hers… There are more than I choose to count. I’ll take a picture when I go home for Christmas.
BTW: Love your blog, you are ridiculously clever!
