Keep your eyes peeled. What is truly amazing is that the neighbors who thought it was odd that someone went up to the front door did not stop to see what was going on. I say this b/c when we lived in High Point our home was broken into. It is truly a sickening & violating feeling to know that someone was in your home without permission going through your things. We had a lot if material possessions stolen but what was ultimately stolen was my sense of safety & peace. I think I now have a better understanding of what a rape victim feels. Luckily, Andy & I were not physically harmed and the cats did not run away (they are inside cats & our backdoor was busted in). That was almost 5 years ago, and only now am I beginning to feel comfortable in our new home in Raleigh. But this girl keeps her eyes peeled for what is going on in her neighborhood & has a security system. I will never live anywhere without one again. Sad but true. Julie,
