Don’t Go There!

in Because I Like To Ramble

THINGS NOT TO ASK ME ABOUT TODAY

  • Why my blood pressure is through the roof. And rising.
  • How the new Suddenlink internet is working out.
  • Why I have Suddenlink’s phone number on speed-dial.
  • Why I have spent the last hour with my head in a basement closet hooking and unhooking modem and router cords with the cordless phone attached to my ear.
  • Why I didn’t get to use the web-cam to talk to McDaddy this evening.
  • The order of unhooking and rehooking said modem and router to re-establish an internet connection at the McResidence.
  • Why I feel so totally overwhelmed at this moment.

THINGS YOU MAY ASK ME ABOUT TODAY.

  • Um. Never mind.

Guess that’s it.

Questions, anyone?

I’ll tell you a number you need to have on speed dial: the geek squad. Ditch the Suddenlink already!

Julie — I’m glad we got a chance to chat earlier today about your ongoing challenges with the Internet service. Last I heard from our regional managers, they have done a number of things that they believe should resolve the issues you’ve been experiencing. If not, you know where to find me. And even if these steps do resolve the issues, I still want to apologize in advance that it took us too long to get you where you needed to be. Either way, thanks for sticking it out — and keep us posted.
