Dear Fall,
I’d like to welcome you to another year here in our neighborhood.
I love everything about you! You are my favorite time of year. Except for Christmas, of course. I love your vibrant colors and your pumpkins and your cooler temps.
Speaking of temps, you have been a little cooler than what I’d like, but as long as you keep the white, fluffy stuff from showing up, I’ll take it. Your crisp mornings remind me of apple butter and scarecrows and pumpkins. Your windy evenings remind me that it will soon get dark quicker. (I can do without that, too if I’m being honest.)
The kids love you for your leaves and your Trick or Treat and your pumpkins.
I love you for your splendor and your beautiful, vibrant colors.
Thank you for being a great season and for helping to make my porch look so cute.

That valley picture is spectacular! I love the one of your boy in the leaves. We buried our two oldest a couple of years ago when we visited Maine. You can barely make out their faces. Great captures!

What a beautiful shot of the leaves changing colors! This is the closest I will get to leaves turning! Your pictures have reminded me that tomorrow is October 1…time to get out the fall decorations even though it is still 90 degrees here!

Love the pictures of your fall display! I too love all those things about fall. I kind of like the darkness of fall too. Give me a reason to hunker down a little bit more and not be running as much!

I love the shot of your son surrounded by the leaves. So typical of kids! And that scenic shot is amazing!
Those are gorgeous colors of yellow and orange in the hills. Love the leaf shot with your son (?) too. Do you have leaves like that already? Here ours are just barely beginning to turn.
