You score points in my book for baking cookies at all. I just don't have the knack for it. Even when I bought ready made cookie dough from a fund raiser, it sat in the freezer for so long my husband took them out and baked them LOL.
.-= Viki´s last blog ..<a href="http://vikisplace.blogspot.com/2009/12/placemats-et-al.html">Placemats et al</a> =-.

Julie, how I love reading your blog- I am severely baking challenged- I can make a 5 course dinner minus dessert- I don't know why either- but my dear sweet friend who is 82 gave me the best recipe- it is easy and my family no longer calls me "baking challenged" although there is no baking to these truffles- I pkg oreos- and yes it matters OREOS- crushed fine- I use my food processor- 1 pck softened cream cheese- mix together roll into balls and place on a cookie sheet- then put in freezer to cool- take one package almond bark and add 1/2c peanut butter to it, melt according to package directions- when melted take your oreo cream cheese balls out of the freezer, dip into the bark mixture and place back om cookie sheet and then back in the freezer to freeze- in 2-4 hours you will swear you are sitting at Godiva having a sinfully good and expensive truffle!

Sorry for sharing it all here- I just got to typing and couldn't quit!

Merry Christmas!
