I’m curled up in my big, blue, bloggy chair watching Dancing With The Stars. It’s one of my favorite shows and I enjoy watching the stars grow week after week. Except for maybe Kate. Poor Kate. I’m hoping this will be her week to shine. In fact, I hope she rocks the tango. And I bet she would if she’d spend her time shining, instead of whining.
While I’m waiting, I thought I’d share with you all the things I learned this week. If you are playing along, please, puh-lease, pretty please be sure to link back to my blog in your post. And also, be sure you are linking to your actual WILTW post and not the home page on your blog. It makes it much easier on folks who are wandering ’round looking for what you’ve learned this week. And if you need help, you can go here for step-by-step destructions instructions. Oh, and it’s always fun to visit and comment, too!
Mkay? Thanks.
- I love flip flops. I was reminded of that this week when the temperatures finally got above 50 freakin’ degrees! And I couldn’t be happier.
- On that same note, I am not good at wearing flip flops. I am a klutz by nature and the flip flop has the tendency to do some sort of roll thing, which causes me to do some sort of tripping thing. If I’m lucky, I catch myself before going down. Usually though, the luck? Not with me.
- Diet Dr. Pepper, while no where near the sugary goodness of it’s regular counterpart, is actually pretty good. I may be trying it out this week here at home.
- If you’re stupid enough to slice your finger while slicing a piece of ham, you totally deserve it. Ahem.
- And if you do happen to slice your finger, you can expect a the healing process to take at least six days, especially if you continuously rip the skin off before it has the chance to heal completely.
- Words With Friends on the iPhone will take a toll on your battery and should only be played if there is an electrical source close by.
- If you have little boys who typically have dirt under their fingernails and you’re in a pinch, a toothpick makes a great cleaning tool. Gross, but true.
- While the tango might not be Kate’s strong suit, it is much better than the jive.
You’re welcome.
I’ll be here all week.
What about you?
Did you learn something this week? I’d love to hear from you lurkers out there.

My lessons are posted
I have only ever ONCE found a pair of comfortable flip-flops!
I know they are more about the fashion than the comfort, but I find most pairs just hideously painful!
The search is on to find another pair that I can wear.
i have one more picture to upload and then mine will be ready… but the pic is on my phone and i’m on a conference call… grrr… but mine may or may not involve a picture of me on the potty…

I understand about the flip flops. I have 2 pair that I wear because they are comfortable, and I will probably will wear them until they completely fall apart. Have a great week!

I highly recommend Fit Flops. Sadly, I don’t think they’ve done a darn thing for my booty. But they are incredibly comfortable, and I LIVE in mine 9 months out of the year. When they first come out I cringed at the $35 price tag for a pair of flip flops, but several years later they are still going strong – worth every penny.

I LOVE flip flops!! Definitely a highlight of the beautiful weather lately. I watched DWTS too and to be honest only really watch for Kate. I wish she would just relax and smile for real. She’s way too uptight!
I LOVE my flip-flops. Wearing my brand-spanking-new navy-blue/yellow ones today — a Mother’s Day gift from a very special family.
Thanks. I love you.
