He is the provider. He is the protector. He is the head of this household. His shoulders carry a heavy load.
He is honest, and full of integrity. He is the kind of guy who does the right thing even though no one is watching. He uses sound judgement when making decisions. He is honest and fair and straightforward. He is smart, funny and loving.
He travels thousands of miles every month. He spends many-a-night away from home, and he eats more meals than he would like, alone.
When he is here, he is present. When he loves, he does it big. When he gives, he does so unselfishly.
When he is away, he is missed.
And at the end of the day, I am thankful that he is also, mine.
